KCET 2023: Online verification of documents from June 27

CET-2023 admission ticket, a final printout of the application form, 10th marks card, 2nd PU / 12th std. marks statement and study certifications are required.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has stated that the online document verification for candidates who indicated eligibility clause code "a" in the UGCET-23 online application form would take place from June 27 to July 15.


S.Ramya, ED, KEA, stated in a press release on Friday that in order to claim eligibility clause "a," he/she must have studied and passed in one or more government or government-recognised educational institutions located in the state of Karnataka for a minimum of SEVEN academic years beginning from 1st standard to 2nd PUC / 12th standard as on 1st July of the year in which the entrance test is held and must have appeared and passed either SSLC  Years of academic study are counted as one year only for candidates who took more than one year to pass a class or standard.


Candidates who have passed 2nd PUC / 12th Std. from PUE / CBSE / CISCE/10+2 or passed from such other equivalent examination and have claimed eligibility clause code as 'a' in UGCET-2023 online application or those who are fulfilling the eligibility conditions of the clause 'a', should verify their study certificates / Kannada medium study / rural study / 2nd PU / 12th Std. Marks at the respective concerned / jurisdiction.


CET-2023 admission ticket, a final printout of the application form, 10th marks card, 2nd PU / 12th std. marks statement and study certificates must be carried by candidates. Candidates and parents are recommended to read the comprehensive instructions and guidelines on the online verification of documents on the KEA website before attending the BEO office for the verification of various types of study certificates.


Candidates who claimed eligibility under clauses (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k) (1) (m) (n), and (0) have been told to come for offline verification of documents at the KEA headquarters in Bengaluru. The timetable will be published in due course, according to the information provided.
