In Madhya Pradesh 78000 Students will get Laptops and Toppers will get e-scooters


The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) recently announced results for class 12 on May 25. A few days after Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that laptops will be distributed to all meritorious students.



Chouhan has announced that laptops will be given to more than 78,000 meritious students who have scored more than 75% marks in the Class 12 board exam in 2023. MP Board will also award e-scooters to the toppers. In earlier years only female toppers were awarded the e-scooters, but this year both males and females will be awarded e-scooters.


This year, 55.28% was recorded as the overall pass percentage. Girls performed better than the boys as they overall scored 58.75 pass percent, whereas boys only got 522 percent. 729426 is the number of students who appeared in the class 12 exams, of which 375437 were boys and 353989 were girls.


This time, the overall pass rate for the Commerce stream was 57.37 percent. The overall pass rate for the Science stream was 66.07%, whereas the overall pass rate for the Humanities stream was 44.95%.
